It's down to the final match in the German ESL Pro Series Summer Season 2011, a match featuring mousesports and ESC Gaming.
The semi-finals took place Friday at the Intel Friday Night Game in Munich, where it all began with the current title-holders mousesports taking on Hardware4u. That match-up should not be the most exciting, as mousesports crushed Hardware4u 16-2 on de_tuscan, followed by a 16-8 win on de_nuke.

Second semi-final followed later, which should be interesting encounter between ESC Gaming and Alternate. The two had crossed three times this season already, two times in the group-stage, where they won one each, and latest in the German League Cup, where ESC won 16-6 on de_dust2.
This battle started on de_inferno, where ESC faced no trouble obtaining a smooth victory, winning with a 16-5 score line. Things turned out a lot more interesting on second map de_tuscan, where Alternate took the lead by producing a 10-5 half-time score, after finishing their CT side. ESC then fought back and it was neck-and-neck at the score 14-14. The teams also went out with a tie after playing all 30 rounds, forcing the map to overtime. In over-time ESC locked down a 5-0 lead after their CT side and with one round as Terrorists, the team secured the 2-0 victory.
